You must be able to stand and put some muscle into your piece during the session.
Parking: Please carpool if attending with friends and park at the water station on the corner of Canboro & Effingham St. as our parking spaces are limited. My neighbours will be open for business so it might be fun to do a little shopping first.
FYI: We also book private felting workshops so you can attend with all your friends for a gal pal evening or birthday party. Minimum 6 felters required.
What is "Felting"?
The origin of felting (also known as Fibre Art) came about when the Nomads used to stuff their sandals with sheep’s wool on their travels to prevent blisters and by the end of their journey, the sweat and moisture would become felted. The process of wet felting we will use in our workshop is continuous rubbing of colourful wool fibres together with warm water and soap to form a one of a kind piece of art.
